    "description": "My name is Agustina and I was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina in 1981, and thanks to my family's influence cooking has been an essential part of my life from an early age. \r\n\r\nAt the age of 18  I started working at a sushi restaurant in Buenos Aires and studying at the IAG - Argentinian Institute of Gastronomy. \r\n\r\nIn the following years I worked in different establishments like the Four Season Hotel in Buenos Aires, high end restaurants O'ffarrell  and Deriva and also for a brief time at Sikkim restaurant in Barcelona.\r\n\r\nDuring this period I mixed my passion for cooking with my other big passion - traveling. With my modest chef salary I saved every penny I could to visit Europe, India, Thailand, Cambodia, always wishing I could one day find the way to cook and travel at the same time, Until one day my dream came true.\r\nIn 2008 the Cirque du Soleil show Alegria visited my home town and after working with them as a local chef for 2 months I got an offer to join the Circus :) \r\n\r\nIn march of 2009 I started working as a chef for the show Kooza and with it I got the unique chance to tour the globe. I visited 3 continents and more than 30 cities, some of them culinary meccas such as Tokyo, Paris, New York and London. After 2 years of working for Kooza I was promoted to the position of Kitchen Manager.\r\n\r\nOn top of all this traveling, the show has employees of 23 different nationalities and for that reason our menus change every meal of every day, serving 12 different menus a week. In every city we use local food suppliers and local staff to support our operation. \r\nWorking for Cirque for 5 years was the most incredible, challenging and unforgettable experience, and it deeply marked the way I cook and feel about food.\r\n\r\nProbably you are wondering why I stopped, the answer is simple - LOVE. In May of 2014 I got married to one of my cirque colleagues, and shortly after we moved to Madrid to start our new life. He is from Bosnia and he is a wonderful musician. \r\n\r\nSince we moved I started hosting private events and show cooking events. I also have been working on my own website private chef/cooking classes/recipe and travel blog project. \r\n\r\nI am truly very interested in this new more intimate way of sharing food and travel experiences with people. I love cooking and since always hosting dinners in my home has been my favorite way of sharing this gift with family and friends.\r\n---\r\nMi nombre es Agustina y nací Argentina en 1981 y gracias a la influencia de mi familia la cocina ha sido mi gran pasión desde muy temprana edad. \r\n\r\nComenze mi carrera profesional en el año 2000, intercalando trabajo en prestigiosos restaurantes y hoteles, estudios en el IAG en Buenos Aires y viajes por Europa, India y el Sudeste Asiático.\r\n\r\nEn el 2009 fui contratada por el show Kooza del Cirque du Soleil como Chef, convirtiéndome posteriormente en Kitchen Manager. \r\n\r\nJunto al circo visite 3 continentes y mas de 30 ciudades, algunas de ellas mecas culinarias como Tokyo, París, New York o Londres.
