It's my art, my hobby, a craft and a passion.\n\nI have always been interested in learning about different cuisines, and to date getting giddy like a child at the prospect of trying an alien new dish. However, my passion for Indian cuisine really took flight when I moved to the UK around 5 years ago. I missed the smells coming from my mother's kitchen. The familiarity of spices, of the tastes I grew up with. The more fusion the world was going with Indian cuisine, the quicker my fingers dialed my mother's number to ensure I grabbed the recipes, in their pure unadulterated form.\n\nMy mother has been my teacher. She has the golden touch. Never once needed a measuring spoon or a chopping board. She measures everything based on a scale called experience. The end result is always perfect. \n\nI'm glad I can continue to learn from her and pass on these wonderful family secrets to you.\n\nBy day I am a banker, and by weekend I am doing what I truly enjoy the most. Making good food, in great company. I have been taking cookery lessons at the request of my friends for many years now, and I hope to be able to carry this forward via the EatWith medium. Guests will be given a list of the ingredients at the start of the class and encouraged to take notes and participate. At the end of the class, the food will be served in haring bowls for all to enjoy the love of their labour over an informal, relaxed setting.
