"body": "Hi Tom,\n\nThanks for getting in touch, and I'm so sorry that your friend has fallen ill!\n\nI'm just checking with the Eatwith technical team if it's possible to alter your booking from 8 to 7 within the system, but from previous experience with similar situations I recall the only option being to cancel the existing booking and to rebook for the updated number of guests. This would of course be quite inconveniencing for yourself, as the refund process takes a couple of working days and would therefore put you out of pocket by a considerable amount in the meantime. Another option would of course be to put the feelers out among your wider friends to see if anyone would like to take this now spare seat.\n\nIn any case, I'll follow up with you regarding your various options as soon as I hear back from Eatwith.
